Why builders choose it
Every wood finish we list is a line our trade customers order repeatedly, so specification, availability and price are all confirmed before it goes on the shelf. If you need volume for a project, ask for a contract price rather than paying the counter rate.

Send us the job and we will tell you what quantity you actually need. Getting the wood finish spec right first time is cheaper than a second delivery.
Buying paint — what matters
Buyers usually come to Fired Earth Velvet Wood Varnish Imbuia 1 L with one of three questions: will it do the job, what does it really cost, and how fast can it be on site.
- Specification over price. Two products in paint can share a description and be built to very different standards. Check the spec table above before comparing prices.
- Quantity. Order to the drawing plus a realistic allowance. A second delivery usually costs more than the material it carries.
- Lead time. Stock position moves weekly. We confirm availability before you commit, not after.
- Volume pricing. The listed R229 is the single-unit rate; ask for a contract rate on quantity.
